Welmo – Advice with the Economic Support Program for Electric Mobility
The promotion program “Wirtschaftsnahe Elektromobilität” of the Berlin Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Business supports the electrification and thus the transition to low emission drive systems of motor vehicles of small and medium-sized enterprises in Berlin.

The electrification of commercial traffic is an important step while transitioning mobility – as the Berlin Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Enterprises (SenWiEnBe) knows. That’s why the “Wirtschaftsnahe Elektromobilität ” (WELMO) funding program was introduced in 2018. Since then, the program has enjoyed great popularity and was therefore increased again on 01.10.2020.
For small and medium-sized enterprises in Berlin, the funding program offers a strong incentive to switch to low-emission engines and thereby contribute to clearer air and thus to climate protection and health.
inno2grid participates in the funding program and has since successfully advised a large number of small and medium-sized companies on the topics of fleet electrification and associated charging infrastructure. A large part of the consultancy costs is covered by the funding program.

Counselling for potential
- Introduction to electromobility
- Analysis of the status quo of the company fleet
- Recommendations on suitable vehicles and charging infrastructure
Realization analysis
- Requirement analysis: Charging infrastructure concept and, if necessary, fleet consideration
- Potential through the connection of charging infrastructure with locally generated, renewable energy
- Concept development with recommendations for action
